Soilfood is proof that crisis awareness, combined with a desire to improve the world, can create business. Soilfood was founded on the belief that only large-scale industrial operations could drive meaningful change in agricultural inputs and industrial material efficiency. Here you can watch the whole story!

In 2015, we decided to turn this change into reality. We established a circular economy company with the mission of making it easy for both industry and farms to contribute to a better world. Our goal is to replace virgin raw materials with recycled ones on a large scale and at speed.

Within five years, we created a market for recycled fertiliszers in Finland, which continues to grow as more and more farmers seek to use recycled nutrients and soil improvers.

To scale up this transformation, we expanded our operations in 2023 and introduced recycled raw materials for industrial use. This allows even larger volumes of industrial side streams to be repurposed into valuable materials.

When the most sustainable solution is also the most profitable, everyone wins.
